Manager of Chapter Giving

Job Title: Manager of Chapter Giving

Position Summary
The Manager of Chapter Giving is responsible for coordinating, maintaining and evolving the fundraising relationship between the Foundation and the collegiate chapters of Alpha Phi Foundation, a 50l(c)(3) organization.

Relationships
The Manager of Chapter Giving reports to Director of Development and works closely with the development team.  This position may be instructed by the Executive Director on certain projects. Serves as the first point of contact for all chapters who contact the Foundation office.

Essential Areas of Responsibility

Fundraising
  • Work with chapters to help facilitate fundraising growth and knowledge of the Foundation
  • Manage key chapter portfolio, working closely with them to help plan and grow their events
  • Manage chapter events calendar and event promotion
  • Secure Foundation speakers and Board representation at key chapter events
  • Prepare and manage all Community Contribution requests
  • Produce appropriate chapter fundraising reports
  • Manage the following key constituencies:
       o Chapters
       o Chapter Advisors
       o Parents
Technology
  • Manage the implementation of an all-encompassing chapter fundraising solution through Luminate Online
  • Facilitate a chapter-wide pilot program for the chapter fundraising solution
      o Secure key chapter participation
      o Host focus groups for feedback
      o Compile chapter feedback and make adjustments as needed
      o Travel to chapters to administer and train chapter fundraising solution as needed
  • Maintain and update chapter fundraising solution year over year
  • Fully manage procedures surrounding chapter fundraising solution
Communications
  • Send semester close emails detailing fundraising totals received by the chapter
  • Build onto and update website resources
  • Promote resources and tips through email and social media
  • Promote chapter events through social media
  • Manage the Focus on Philanthropy blog
Other
  • Help facilitate the annual Leadership Conferences and biannual Convention events
  • Travel required
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 1-3 years of fundraising experience, additional event experience preferred
  • Database experience required, Raiser's Edge preferred
