This gift is in honor of my beloved mother, Linda Sue Patton Haycock. She pledged Alpha Phi at Miami University (OH). She passed away on March 1, 2025. She loved being an Alpha Phi and was active as an alumni.

After graduation (2004), I left Virginia and moved to Colorado. As a result, I lost touch with most of my Theta Iota sisters. Two weeks ago, we had a huge alumnae reunion at JMU! It was amazing how we connected like no time had passed. Seven generations of my Alpha Phi family attended and now we are holding monthly Zoom calls to support one another. Sisterhood was important at 20, but it’s just as valuable at 42!
