To make the most of your event, make sure to inform Alpha Phi Foundation of your chapter’s planned philanthropy events at least 6 – 8 weeks ahead of time, take advantage of GiveSmart’s fundraising and event management technology, and share your chapter’s successes and lessons learned following your event.

As a best practice, all event donations should be received by Alpha Phi Foundation within 30 days of the philanthropy event. Use the resources below to learn how to submit donations of all kinds, safely collect online donations outside of GiveSmart, order a Card Connect Reader, and more.
Note: Please mail cash and check donations with a completed Donation Cover Sheet for each philanthropy event you host.
Charitable Event Donations & Receipts
For individuals and companies who request information about Alpha Phi Foundation, like the mission, contact information, EIN/Tax ID, or W-9, we encourage you to share this Nonprofit Status Letter with them. For those donating non-cash items (like goods or services), please provide the In-Kind Gift Receipt. For those making a donation through a charitable auction outside of GiveSmart, please distribute tax receipts accordingly using the Charitable Auction Tax Receipt Template.

Spread awareness of your chapter’s philanthropy efforts and educate on Alpha Phi Foundation’s programs. Sign up for an Instagram Takeover to organically reach new followers, wear and distribute complimentary Red Dress Pins to chapter members and guests, and add official Foundation logos to your chapter’s digital and print collateral.
Community Contributions Program
Alpha Phi Foundation’s Community Contributions Program allows Alpha Phi chapters to request that a portion of their event proceeds go directly toward a specific Foundation program, chapter-specific fund, or local 501(c)(3) organization with a shared focus in heart health. Please review Community Contribution Program policies and terms of the agreement before completing the Community Contribution request form.
