“While being a teacher intern, for the Alabama public schools, I see these students needing a strong support system for their academics and emotional being. This scholarship allows me to continue my education degree to where I can be that support they need. What I saw was truly heartbreaking with some kids, I have the desire to help them to better in school and in making life choices. I want to be someone that these kids can look up to and trust.”
