This week’s spotlight is Delta Xi (Nebraska/Kearney) who had over 250 participants in their Red Dress Poker Tournament! Director of Philanthropy Kaitlyn Liberty gives us the scoop.

Who attended the event?
Students, community members, parents, faculty and staff of the university.

Briefly describe the event.
We held a poker tournament that involved over 250 participants. The event began at 5:00 pm and went until only one person was left standing. The last 35 people received prices that were donated from businesses in our community.

How did your chapter publicize the event?
We used the local news and radio stations as well as posted bulletins and posters throughout the community and campus. We also sent letters to alumnae and parents.
