Celebrating Chapter Philanthropy at the 73rd Biennial Convention
At Alpha Phi International Fraternity’s 73rd Biennial Convention, Alpha Phi Foundation had the pleasure of celebrating our 2020-2022 Convention Award recipients for the first time in 4 years. Join us in congratulating the biennium’s chapter award winners who excelled at advancing women’s lives through the power of philanthropy.
Martha Watkins Mast Spirit of Philanthropy of Award
This honor, named for longtime Foundation Chair Martha Watkins Mast (Beta Nu-Duke), recognizes one collegiate chapter and one alumnae community who display exemplary support of Alpha Phi Foundation through education, service, and philanthropy.
Through their respective creative and evolving philanthropy efforts, passion for service and the Foundation, and commitment to continued education on philanthropy, we are pleased to award Iota Zeta (Colorado School of Mines) and the Dallas and Suburban Alumnae Community!
Constellation Award
The Constellation Award recognizes collegiate chapters whose cumulative giving in increments of $500,000 donated to Alpha Phi Foundation.
The Sigma chapter at the University of Washington became our third collegiate chapter to surpass $1,000,000+ raised for Alpha Phi Foundation! The Omega chapter at the University of Texas at Austin and the Beta Epsilon chapter at the University of Arizona received the Constellation award with $581.2K and $569.6K donated respectively to the Foundation through June 30, 2022.
International Partner in Philanthropy Award
The International Partner in Philanthropy Award recognizes the top three fundraising collegiate chapters of the biennium across all quadrants.
The 2020-2022 recipients of the International Partner in Philanthropy Award are Sigma (Washington), Eta Upsilon (Chapman), and Beta Epsilon (Arizona).
Excellence in Philanthropy Award
The Excellence in Philanthropy Award recognizes the top fundraising collegiate chapter in each of Alpha Phi’s four quadrants.
The 2020-2022 recipients of the Excellence in Philanthropy Award are Epsilon Xi (Southern Illinois) in the North Quadrant, Kappa Theta (Baylor) in the South Quadrant, Delta Zeta (Maryland) in the East Quadrant, and Sigma (Washington) in the West Quadrant.
