This week’s Chapter Spotlight is Epsilon Nu (Delaware) who raised attendance at their 4th Annual Red Dress Gala – welcoming over 350 guests! Vice President of Marketing Krista Dowiak shares a few tips with us.

Event Name: Red Dress Gala
Location: DuPont Country Club, Wilmington, DE

How many years have you held this event?
4

What do you think attributes to the growth in attendance this year?
I think the increase in attendance was a result of a couple factors. First, the gala we held the year prior was such a success that families who had not attended did so this year, and those who did brought more members of their family. I also made sure throughout the entire planning process to stress to the chapter the significance of this event. This coupled with the constant excitement expressed by all members that had attended in years past greatly encouraged current and new members to attend.

Is there anything else you would like to share with other chapters as they plan similar events?
Our gala really brought the chapter closer together and was an experience that allowed sisters to see the power of their contributions and support. The presence of Foundation speaker, Holly Bryk (Epsilon Nu-Delaware), was one of my favorite aspects of the night. This gave families and friends in attendance the opportunity to learn about what the Foundation does, and how their support goes to something that helps so many others.
