PCI is committed to protecting your information. The names, addresses and information provided to PCI for the publication of the Oral History Project will be held confidential by PCI, except to the extent that they are utilized in, or in the preparation of, the Oral History Project and except as required by court order or law. Upon completion of the project, PCI will redact PII (Personal Identifiable information) from all electronic files that we have supplied or were produced by PCI in connection with the production of the Oral History Project

Alpha Phi Foundation partnered with PCI (Publishing Concepts) to produce an Oral History Project publication for Alpha Phi. This project allows your organization to receive important updates and stories to its database and so it knows more about its people and how it can serve them better.

PCI is a family owned business based in Dallas, TX that has published directories for educational institutions, fraternities, sororities, and military organizations across the nation for over 100 years.

You can call back at any time to share or update your story!

If you received a postcard or an email with a telephone number, you may call the number to speak with a dedicated representative for the Oral History Project. The representative will verify all the information we have on file for you, make any updates where needed, then ask you to share your story about your time with Alpha Phi. Your story will be recorded and provided to Alpha Phi at the conclusion of the project.

If you have received an email with an embedded link, you may go to the online site to review your information and submit a story.

The ultimate goal of this project is to celebrate and preserve the unique legacy of Alpha Phi through the voices of the women who lived it.

Every story gathered will be recorded, transcribed, and curated into a commemorative printed and digital book—available exclusively to Alpha Phi alumnae for purchase—as well as safely archived in a digital vault for future generations.

Beyond creating a lasting keepsake, this effort ensures our member database is accurate and up to date. Having current contact details strengthens our alumni network, improves member engagement, and enhances our fundraising efforts to support vital Alpha Phi programs and scholarships for years to come.

You will be asked to update your contact information (addresses, phone numbers) and share your occupation. For the oral history part of the call, you may be asked questions like:

• Why did you choose Alpha Phi? What inspired you to join?
• Tell me about your time in Alpha Phi. In what ways did it add to your overall college experience?
• I know you must have anticipated that joining would mean years of fun, but were you surprised by the depths of the friendships you created?
• How did Alpha Phi help you grow or change as a person?
• What would you say is your greatest takeaway from your time with Alpha Phi?

Although advances in technology allow us to share information online in seconds, this project uses phone calls so you can speak to a real person and ensure your information is correct. The PCI staff member may ask you follow-up or clarifying questions that an online system would not allow.

Yes. Along with updating your contact information and answering questions about your Alpha Phi experience for the Oral History Project, you will be invited to purchase merchandise and/or the Oral History Project book. You are under no obligation to purchase the book or other merchandise.

When you call PCI, you will speak to one of their staff members. You will not be speaking to an Alpha Phi Fraternity or Foundation staff member when you call PCI.
