Two-time Alpha Phi Foundation Scholar Brittany Cleary (Iota Kappa-Dartmouth) shared her reaction to receiving one of the highest honors for an Alpha Phi Foundation scholarship recipient!⁠

⁠The senior chemistry major, aspiring scientist, and 2020-2021 recipient of the Clara Bradley Burdette Founders’ Scholarship ultimately hopes to earn a Ph.D. in chemistry and “address global environmental challenges through the development of novel materials.”⁠

Clara Bradley Burdette Founders Scholarship

In 2016, Diane and Edward Straker established the Clara Bradley Burdette Founders Scholarship, named after one of our founding sisters whose primary objective in life was developing better opportunities for women. The scholarship is a need-based award for undergraduate Alpha Phis pursuing degrees in STEM. Learn more about this scholarship.

Scholarship Program

Through the generosity of donors, Alpha Phi Foundation awarded over $370,000 in merit and need-based scholarships to graduate and undergraduate Alpha Phis for the 2020-2021 academic year. The 2021-2022 scholarship application will open on December 1, 2020. Learn more about the Scholarship Program.
